Do I need to do anything special in preparation for the treatment?
No preparation is required ahead of the treatment. Even better news, there is no recovery period either. You can return to daily activities on the same day.
Once you are comfortable, Elizabeth cleans the area to be worked on. Then the dermal filler is injected using a syringe. You may feel a mild pinch but the discomfort is minimal and fleeting
Are Profhilo skin boosters painful?
The treatment is performed with very thin needles so you may feel a small amount of pain. The injection can also cause redness and mild bruising, but skin boosters can’t really be described as painful.
How long do Profhilo skin boosters last?
Profhilo injections remain in the skin for 28 days, so the treatment needs to be repeated after a month for optimal effect. As the cell life cycle is 3 weeks, regenerative activity slows down so we recommend repeating the treatment after 4 weeks in order to enhance the lifting effect.
After the second booster, Profhilo injections will last between 6 to 9 months. We recommend repeating the treatment 1 or 2 times a year, depending on the hydration, tone, elasticity and texture of your skin
